What We Believe

We believe the Bible is the inerrant word of God, and that the true interpretation of Scripture is given by revelation from the Holy Spirit. God is infinite and knows all things. He provides guidance and protection for His people. We believe in the Holy Trinity: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit as three in One. All three roles are revealed as God. He operates distinctly in each role.

The Lord God

God is autonomous, he has no beginning and no end. His throne is eternal. Other names for God are: I AM; YHWH; God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Lord of Heaven's Armies; Elohim; Lord of the Harvest; Jehovah, Adonai, Lord of Hosts, and more. We believe God is omniscient, omnipotent, sovereign, holy, and omnipresent. He is the creator of heaven and earth and all creatures that dwell there in. He is the God Head of the Trinity.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God. He was the Word that went forth from God the Father to create the earth according to Genesis. Jesus is the Word or God. We believe he came to earth as a human to sacrifice Himself for the sins of the world, without which no one could have eternal life. Jesus willingly gave his life on the cross for all humanity. He rose from the dead three days after his death, defeating death and sin. He is the resurrection. We believe the name of Jesus is powerful. In his name we have victory over the enemy. Jesus is currently seated at the righthand of God the Father, interceding for the saints of God. Jesus is the only mediator between God and man. We believe Jesus is returning to retrieve his bride, which is the spiritual church. They are those who remain faithful to Jesus and persevere until the end of time.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is a part of the Trinity. He equips the saints (spiritually mature Christians) for service. He distributes spiritual gifts to believers to build up of the church. We believe that we were sealed with the Holy Spirit at conversion, and that a measure of the Holy Spirit lives in us. He is called the Spirit of Truth. He convicts believers of sin and helps them live holy lives. He teaches us all things, and brings into their remembrance all thing that Jesus said.
